In recent years, with the rapid growth of the industrial society, remarkable development of the health and medical fields are being made. However, due to the use of various mass media and computers, the phenomenon of visual acuity in modern people is becoming a serious problem. Accordingly, this department trains opticians who can contribute to public eye health through technical training in the overall field of eyewear optics such as prescription and preparation of eyeglasses for vision protection, precise processing, refraction and binocular vision and eye function tests using advanced equipment, technology and optical theory related to eyeglass preparation and processing, eye structure and function, eye disease prevention, etc.
