Food and nutrition experts responsible for the dietary life of the people
Recently, the westernization of food, the increase of eating out, and the development of processed foods are causing an imbalance in nutrition. Due to this, adult diseases such as obesity, high blood pressure, and diabetes are on the rise. Therefore, in order to maintain and promote the health of the people, there is a high demand for multifunctional technicians who are equipped with technologies in the fields related to food and nutrition. The Department of Food and Nutrition aims to cultivate multifunctional technicians who have acquired theories and skills in various fields related to food nutrition, such as food nutrition, cooking, restaurant industry, and food hygiene, through theoretical education, experiments, and field practice.
